Always & Tampax Always Radiant Collection

We all know that talking about feminine hygiene products cannot be easy unless you are suggesting a product to a fellow female.  Which is what I will be doing today!.. but it still feels weird lol.  I will tell you now that my favorite product is the pad! =).. Don't feel awkward? or looking to change your products? read on for my full review and photos!

As we all know every girl/woman needs plenty of these around the house in bathrooms, purses and cars.  I had a chance to try these new products out that always and tampax came up with.  In the package there was 1 bag filled with 1 pad, 3 liners and 2 tampons.

The bag that came in the package is very cute and very protective.  The bag does not feel very thin it had quite the cushion.

Everyone has a preference.  It's either one or the other or both.  I personally like to wear pads at home.. and tampons if I am going out and will be out for hours.

I like to use panty liners when I know my cycle is about to begin.  I wear it for several days before the actual date..  because it usually starts earlier than expected.  Also liners come in handy when the cycle is not heavy, that way I am not wasting any regular pads or tampons and hey, liners are more comfortable and feel like they are barely there.

I did get to try the pad, it is quite different.  The one I received has wings.  I always get the ones that have the wings, that way I don't feel like its moving or slipping.  Which is why I took photos of and up-close photos of.  The pads I've used before were bulky and felt like cotton balls in it after it would be saturated.  This one however, feels like a thin foam or very compacted cotton.  It also has holes and lines on it which sort of threw me off but it worked out well for me.  I think it is the Infinicel (what it is made out of) that solves the problem of leaking.  You can see in the 2nd photo how thin the pad really is.  I am not going to say that it feels like you're not wearing anything because everyone that has tried a pad knows exactly how uncomfortable it is.  What I can say is.. once you have it on.. your body will adjust to it & you will feel comfortable and confident with it on.  Not having to worry about leaking or if its showing =).

I was actually given the chance to try out the same pad/brand in overnight version in another program.. and it looks the exact same, except the overnight pad is longer.  I have never tried such a thin overnight pad.

As for the tampons.. I try not to go out when I have my period unless I have to.  So I haven't had a chance to try them yet.. I actually gave them to my mom because she prefers tampons.  I did look at it.  The tube surrounding the tampon is made of plastic and is very thin plastic so it would be easy to push the tampon up.  Also, maybe I just didn't notice it before... but I thought tampons usually have 1 thick string. this one has multiple thin strings tied and connected together.  If you pull on one of the strings the string gets smaller.. not sure if that is a good idea or how it will work out.. when you need to change it.

Where can you buy it? How much?:

As you know you can get these at any retail store nation wide that sells feminine supplies.  The prices vary between packs but very affordable! $4-$10.

The panty liners feel like any other panty liner.. then again I usually use always anyways.  As for the pads.. I really like them.. especially the overnight one because I tend to worry more at night if I'm leaking or not, since I like to move in my sleep.  I will def. be purchasing these in the future and replace my thicker pads.  All I have to do is use all of my current items up before purchasing myself a new set of these!

I hope you guys enjoyed my review on these products... and that you guys didn't feel as awkward reading this review as I did writing it lol!  By the way.. I keep the bag with some "extra" pads and tampons inside for an emergency.  I store them in my trunk =).. You just never know!
