What I was sent:

I was sent 3 nail polishes from the company for review.  I was asked what colors I would prefer and I mentioned creme finishes as well as pink and any fall colors.  That is exactly what I got.  I received a classic pale pink with a dark navy blue and a beautiful Effects Colour.

Frosting Cream: $9 US/ $11.30 Canadian

Frosting Cream is a semi-sheer pale pink color.  I would say it takes 3-4 coats for it to look flawless on the nails without any streaking.  I always seem to have to apply multiple coats for this sort of shade.  I also added the Effects on top on one of the swatches.

Gold Shimmer: $9 US/ $13.80 Canadian

This polish is labeled as sheer.  This polish is from the Effects line by CND.  IT is nice to wear alone but looks great on top of any polish.  Depending on the shade of polish (how light or dark) the effect comes out differently.  As you saw previously it gives a nice gold sheen to the pale pink polish without completely taking over.

Midnight Sapphire: $9 US/ $11.30 Canadian

This is your typical navy blue shade.  I guess I can say it may be comparable to China Glaze's First Mate. It is labeled as an opaque polish and it certainty is.  It took 1 coat for it to come out perfect.  It is lovely alone and with the Effects on top.

4 out of 5 stars.  I love the bottles.. they are shaped differently then any other bottles I have.  The backing of the polishes are flat so they lean against my rack perfectly.  I like how they describe how the polish shows up on the label.

I love the consistency of the polishes.  I didn't see a huge difference in the pink polish and any other pink polish.  They all take multiple coats and come out the same but this one wasn't as streaky as others and the formula wasn't too thin.  The blue one is great perfect coverage with just a single coat.  Do I even need to tell you how I feel about the Effects?  I love it!  I love polishes like that they make great layering polishes on any color.  I mean it looked great on top of the blue and just gave frosting a slightly different look.  If I was to purchase any of the polishes I would purchase the other Effects.  They come in other colors and other textures.

They did not seem to thicken quickly after I first opened it.  I def. recommend the Effects!

Where can you get it?:
