Starlooks (November 2012)

This is my November box.  So sorry it's late.  School has been taking over but no worries, this week is the last week of finals! yay! Then I can get back on my regular blogging schedule and blog stuff that I have been meaning to post.  I hope you enjoy this box!

The Box:
The box this month was leopard! and it had 2 cards inside with 3 products and a mystic quartz.  This month the box was customized by skin tone.  Basically products were picked out personally to compliment each skin color but each quad that was available would be suitable for anyone skin tone.

Customized Quad:
It wasn't labeled which quad I received but very neutral colors.  I really like this quad because I am a neutral eyeshadow lover.  It can be worn day or night and I definitely think that it would work with any skin color.  I already have colors that are quite similar to these.

The only thing I don't like about this quad is that the packaging itself is not magnetic.  So the pots seem to fall out and shake, which makes it not travel friendly.  I even tested out one of my mac pots that have a magnet on it and it did not work.  I am sure you can depot the whole quad to put a magnetic sheet under to make it work.. but it would be a waste.  This would be great for people that already have palettes that they would like to insert these to.

Tender Gloss Lipstick in Pearl:
This lipstick is really sheer.  The first swatch I believe was 2 swipes and the second swatch was swiped 3x.  It is a really pretty color and quite moisturizing.  I do have to say that it is too sheer for my taste.  It was more like a tinted balm than a lipstick.  I do like the color and I think that it will layer over a nice nude lip liner or nude pink lip liner.

Eyelash Tool:
I was really surprised to see this little gadget in my box.  Wasn't exactly sure out to use it but soon figured it out.  It is used to separate your lashes and help put on your mascara.  Very similar to the lash card, except that it is easier to hold and use.

Quartz:
I believe mine broke =.=.  but it's okay.  I just added it to the rest of the decor for my perfumes.
