The Julep polishes come in stick like bottles.. different from your typical wide bottom narrow top bottles.  The name of the polishes are on the bottom and more details are on one of the sides of the bottles.  One side of the bottle is shaded in black and has juleps logo clear to see the color.

All 3 colors are creme based polishes.  My ultimate favorite type of polish!  They are opaque with just 1 coat but 2 is better.  I wore the purple around the holidays and you can find that mani in my most recent nail post here.  I have yet to really wear the brown and red but have dabbled with them.  I have to say that the second swatch with the natural lighting is more accurate than the first with flash.  All 3 colors are beautiful.  I have heard people complain about quick chipping but I had no problems with it.  As long as you have a good base and top coat and seal in your look at the tips then you should be set to go without the chipping.

The colors are lovely and they last a while on my nails.  Creme colors with 1 coat opaqueness is a plus.  However, it is shy that 1 star because of the price.  I do have to say that $14 for a nail polish is pricey.  Which is why I recommend signing up for their Julep Maven Program.

You get a box full of goodies for $20/month.  Most of the boxes contain 2 nail polish and usually something for the nails/hands or feet (changes each month).  There is one box though that includes 3 polishes.  These monthly boxes are way more worth it than purchasing them individually.  Also when you do get the box, you can put add on's of other polishes available which is only $5 for each additional polish.  I love the program because if it doesn't fit into your budget that month or you aren't interested in the colors/products you are allowed to skip the month.  They also have a referral program as well as "jules" (points) for each box you get and products you purchase as well as referrals, that can be used for future boxes or products.

I would be ever so grateful if you used my referral link "http://www.julep.com/rewardsref/index/refer/id/12436/" and use the code "MAVENINTRO" or "PENNY" at checkout."  Of course you don't have to and you can just sign up normally at their website "www.julep.com".
