Ipsy - The Look of Love (February 2014)

Hello Hello,  I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day! It was just another regular day of editing and some homework for me.

Ipsy's January bag theme is The Look of Love.. goes hand in hand with Valentine's Day.  Too bad some people didn't receive their bag in time.  Fortunately, I received mine on the 13th.  My reviews for the Ipsy bag's will vary depending on how many photos I have.  It will be like the one you're reading now or like my last Ipsy post (have you seen January's Ipsy bag yet?)

The Bag: February
The color of this month's bag is is bright bubble gum pink with the signature white Ipsy tab on the zipper.  The bag is plain on the outside and has pink leopard printing on the inside.  The top of the bag is also a bit curved.  I feel indifferent with this month's bag but I do like the inside design.  I wish it was slightly incorporated on the outside as well.

City Color: Received Full Size
You can get it here >> City Color - Blackberry

The blush is really affordable, it's only $2.99.  It's called Be Matte but you can see in the close up there are little sparkles, however, they do not show up when you apply the blush to your cheeks.  The application was smooth and blended out well.  It has enough pigmentation to give your cheeks some color but you can build up the color if needed.  It's also a really good size about the size of my palm, slightly bigger than Mac blushes.

'tini Beauty: Received Full Size
You can get it here >> 'Tini Beauty Eyetini Shadow Tint - Ambrosia
I am not going to lie, I think this product is a bit over priced.  It sells for $18.  The product is contained in a lipgloss tube and also has a wand applicator.  I love the color of the product when applied but it doesn't look as metallic or vibrant when dried.  You can blend it out with a brush but I find it easier to just blend it out with your finger.  I do have to say that this shadow tint lasted all day for me.  It's the only shadow I have on my lids in the photo below.

Pop Beauty: Received Sample Size
You can get it here >> Pop Beauty Plump Pout - Peony Petal
This lip gloss values at $16. This sample size is the same height as mac lipglasses.  Mac lipglasses have .17 fl.oz and the pop beauty sample has .14 fl.oz.  I saw the full size at Ulta and it is much bigger than the sample size so $16 is not too bad of a price ($10 might have been better).  There is little to no scent for this lip gloss.  It's also quite pigmented and not too sticky, in fact it's really smooth after application and does not feel sticky at all.  The small wand makes it easy to control during application.  The packaging is also really cute.

 Zoya: Received Full Size
You can get it here >> Zoya - Odette
I've said it a few times and I'll say it again I love Zoya + Ipsy.  Ipsy is one of the very few (maybe the only) beauty subscription that gives full size zoya polishes.  I've been subscribed to a few other beauty boxes in the past and the zoya polishes were always those mini sizes.  I really like the mauvy purple but I have something quite similar to it.  Nonetheless, I do love it.  Applies beautifully  and opaque in 1-2 coats.  Their polishes sell for $8 but they do have promotions for buy 2 get 1 free or bogo sales.  I think their polishes are well worth the $8.

Uberliss: Received Sample Size (.34 fl oz)
You can get it here >> Überliss - RituOil
I'll be admit that I have yet to try this product.  Although I do like serums and oils in my hair I rarely use them.  I usually apply them to the tips when I curl my hair.  I will say that the product smells really nice but if I keep it, the product will probably just stay in my drawer and I'll forget about it.  So I will be passing this on to my friend to use.  It sounds like a great product though.  The full size (2oz) retails for $19.90.

My bag this month is valued at a little over $30!  I enjoyed my bag a lot this month.  I usually enjoy my bag when the majority is make up.  My favorite is probably the lip gloss (and I am not really a lip gloss person).  I like all the products in my bag this month and didn't dislike any of them.  There are a few that are a bit over priced in my opinion but they work and apply well. Have you checked out my other Ipsy bags? (my review here)
